Tapcart is a no-code mobile app builder for Shopify. Allowing e-commerce brands such as OVO, Princess Polly, Drew House, etc. to reach millions of consumers through their mobile platform.

Many clients have experienced, on average, a 40% increase in session conversion rates with Tapcart, along with an average ROI of 43x.

Overview

I've led the end to end design process for numerous projects within the Integrated Commerce team, overseeing the enhancement of the consumer app experience for our enterprise clients.

Occasionally, the consumer experience directly impacts the merchant dashboard experience. This ensures that merchants also possess configuration capabilities to manage the app features presented to their users.

Custom Blocks on Cart

While working on expanding customization options for merchants through Custom Blocks, I lead design in enabling custom block features within the cart during the purchase process.

  • Identified and designed key opportunities to input Custom Blocks on the user purchasing flow.

  • Designed an ideal user flow for merchants to create and add Custom Blocks on cart on the dashboard experience.

  • Ensured that the design strategy on the mobile app and merchant dashboard experience encompasses company goals and is scalable

Support for Product Badging on Mobile

As a mobile product designer, I supported the team by designing how the product badging will be displayed on the product listings. This provides an effective way to increase a merchant app’s conversion rate.

  • Worked alongside two different engineering teams to provide support in establishing product badging for a merchant and how it appears for a consumer.

  • Defined common use case scenarios for how product badges are displayed to establish clarity for the engineering teams.

User-generated content for product reviews

A design strategy that introduces an improved product review feature. This new feature empowers users to contribute more of their own content to reviews, fostering increased engagement and interaction within our merchant’s app.

  • Conducting user research to explore consumer engagement within e-commerce apps.

  • Identified additional opportunities to enhance user generated content within the products of the app, estimated to deliver high value to the merchant app experience.

  • Actively worked with product and engineering to develop a design strategy while ensuring seamless integration that is within the scope.
